Located within a high-foot-traffic commercial corridor, this Pottery Barn location was scheduled for turnover to a new tenant. The property owner required a clean, white-box delivery, which included the full removal of interior finishes, fixtures, and regulated materials.

RemacUSA was contracted to handle turnkey demolition and abatement, including hazardous material compliance and coordinated site logistics.


Services Performed

Interior Strip-Out

Removed drywall partitions, grid ceilings, floor coverings, and display infrastructure. Ductwork and electrical systems were isolated and demolished up to demarcation points.

Asbestos Abatement

Identified and removed asbestos-containing materials in flooring mastics and pipe insulation. All work performed under full containment with third-party air monitoring.

Lead Paint Stabilization

Fluorescent ballasts, e-waste, exit signs, and batteries were collected and transported to authorized disposal facilities.

Universal Waste Removal

Performed work during off-hours and weekends to minimize disruption to MedVet’s emergency care operations. Coordinated directly with site supervisors and veterinary staff.

Material Recycling

Recyclable metals and clean debris were sorted for diversion from landfill to meet LEED standards for sustainable construction.


Challenges & Solutions

Challenge

Work needed to be performed quickly and quietly within a mixed-use shopping district with surrounding active tenants.

Solution

RemacUSA coordinated early-morning and overnight shifts, maintained strict dust and noise control, and ensured all work areas were secured and cleaned daily. Utility shutoffs were coordinated with mall operations to prevent service interruptions.


Final Outcome

The site was delivered on time and in white-box condition, with all regulated materials removed and waste documentation provided. RemacUSA’s efforts allowed the property management team to seamlessly transfer the space to incoming tenants and begin the next phase of construction.
