The property at 2611 Hoffman Mill Road had been vacant and condemned for several years. The deteriorating structure posed a safety risk and environmental concern for the surrounding rural area. Carroll County contracted RemacUSA to safely demolish the home, remove any hazardous materials, and restore the site for future municipal use or preservation.
Services Performed
✅ Asbestos Abatement
RemacUSA conducted a pre-demolition asbestos survey and removed ACMs, including floor tile, mastic, and duct insulation under containment protocols.
Clearance air sampling was performed post-abatement per Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) standards.
✅ Structural Demolition
The home and attached structures were mechanically demolished using an excavator equipped with a grapple.
Debris was sorted and transported off-site for disposal or recycling.
