USDA

Beltsville Agricultural Research Center

REMAC was awarded a $2,250,000 contract by the USDA to demolish several out of commissioned buildings and silos at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC). This is all part of the demolition of “Programmatic Agreement Phase I” buildings at BARC.

I-495 Demolition

One of the major construction projects in the DMV Metropolitan Area is “495 NEXT”. This $660 million project spanning 2.5–3 miles of I‑495, initiated in March 2022, and on track to open express lanes. RemacUSA has:

  • Removed demolished concrete/steel debris from bridge replacements and ramp construction.

  • Environmental site remediation, including preparation for new infrastructure.

  • Hazardous-material containment/disposal, ensuring proper handling before new work.

WMATA Metro Rail

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority issued a contract to REMAC for the pickup and disposal of 200 outdated railcars. The project is part of WMATA's broader strategy to phase out older rolling stock as they upgrade the fleet.
