As a processor of recycled metals, we are dedicated to environmental preservation, conservation, and waste reduction. We work closely with our industrial clients to provide a safe and clean metal recycling service with as little as possible environmental impact.
Last year we recycled over 100k metric tons of ferrous and non-ferrous metals sold to us by individuals, manufacturing companies, state and federal agencies, construction and service companies throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
According to NERC (NorthEast Recycling Council) and the World Resources Institute, our recycling operations last year resulted in 54,816.04 MTCE (Metric Ton Carbon Dioxide Equivalent) net Green House Gas (GHG) savings from emissions which would otherwise have been made if the metals had been forged from virgin ore.1
This is equal to the annual GHG emissions from 10,481 passenger vehicles, the CO2 emissions from 6,166,034 gallons of gasoline, or from the annual electricity consumption of 6,652 homes!2
